CMHS Midtown Medical Group Expansion II

Apex General Contractors' Success with CMHS Midtown Medical Group Expansion II Project

Continuing their commitment to advancing healthcare accessibility and quality, CMHS Midtown Medical Group embarked on the next phase of expansion at 2711 E. Main St., Ventura, CA. In collaboration with APEX and design professionals, this expansion aimed to seamlessly integrate new facilities while maintaining the high standards set by previous phases. Attention to detail, precise planning, and a focus on tenant needs were central to the success of this project.

The expansion strategy for CMHS Midtown Medical Group Expansion II was meticulously crafted during the early planning and design stages. APEX, alongside the client and design professionals, developed a comprehensive plan to seamlessly integrate new facilities into the existing structure. Attention to detail was paramount, particularly concerning floor elevation differences between the existing and new expansion areas.

CMHS Midtown Medical Group Expansion II

Demolish interiors of an old hair salon, formerly known as the “Center Salon”. Included abatement and remediation of floor mastics found underneath existing ceramic tile floor during the demolition phase. Renovate 1,690 square feet of retail lease space and upgrade existing base building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, subject to OSHPD 3 for Clinics requirements. Install all new ceiling, floor and wall finishes to match MMG Expansion 1 suite. Plans for tenant improvements called for (6) new consultation offices, (1) doctor’s office and wall opening in the demising wall for connection to the previous Medical Group Expansion I area. Maintain water service to adjacent tenant space and provide a new staff restroom. Worked with the Landlord to patch and repair the roof.
Throughout the project, APEX worked closely with the landlord to patch and repair the roof, ensuring the integrity of the building envelope and protecting against potential leaks or damage. The CMHS Midtown Medical Group Expansion II project exemplifies a dedication to continuous improvement and patient-centered care. Through meticulous planning, precise execution, and a commitment to tenant needs, APEX has facilitated the seamless integration of new medical facilities, further enhancing healthcare accessibility and quality in the Ventura community.
